Please declare children traveling without an accompanying person when making the booking. However immediately before commencing the journey at the latest. Details about the destination airport and precise information about the name and address of the person who will collect the child at the destination airport will be recorded in a form.
The child will be supervised by airport staff and flight crew around the clock, from the security check until handover to the person collecting the child at the destination airport. This also applies during transfers.
With the exception of Ryanair, this service is available for all scheduled flights from Linz and is applicable for children between the ages of 5 and 12 years. At the request of the parents, applications can also be made for young people up to 18 years of age.
The fees incurred are dependent on the route.

Please notify your travel agent when making the booking, or your airline if booking direct, that you require support. Your wishes and needs will then gladly be taken into account. You will learn about provisions and special features in your travel agency and from your airline.

Passenger building and back
There are marked parking places available for disabled passengers at all airport car parks.
Parking fee: 20 % reduction on the corresponding tariff.
Located near the parking spaces are also special telephone posts, that you can use to contact the airport management.
On request, Airport Linz will provide you with a wheelchair free of charge.

In the passenger building
The Blue Danube Airport has lifts for changing levels as well as ramps.
Toilets and washrooms are located in the Check-in Hall (basement level – reached with lift) and in the Transit Hall (ground floor level).
The airport restaurant can be reached with the lift, Cafe Arabia is located in the Departure Hall on the ground floor.
To the aircraft and back
A bus will gladly bring you to the aircraft and back again.
A wheelchair can also be provided from Check-in until boarding the aircraft.
The airport staff are at your service for any assistance you may require.

Traveling with animals:
Domestic animals must already be declared when making the booking. Animals are transported in the cargo hold or as „pet in cabin“. „Pet in cabin“: Cats and dogs can be taken with you on board in the cabin, however only one animal per class. Please provide a suitable transport box, which corresponds to the dimensions of one item of hand luggage (8 kg, 56x45x25) and please ensure for an adequate supply of water and feed for your animal. The EU Pet-Passport must be presented when checking in, and evidence must be produced, that the animal bears the prescribed chip.
